I started ALNG because plans die alone.
The exhibition you wanted to see. The 7am gym habit. That new café on Chapel Road. Most plans don't fall through because you lost interest — they fall through because nobody was free.
So I built the simplest fix I could think of: a way to book good company for the things you already want to do. Platonic, in public, no weirdness.
Make good company as easy to find as a good coffee — and make it feel safe enough that anyone would try it.
What we actually believe
Four things we argue about, and always land on.
Platonic, on purpose
ALNG is for plans, not dates. That boundary is the whole product — every screen is designed to protect it.
Safety is the feature
Curated public venues, and a real person reviewing every companion. If a growth idea weakens that, it doesn’t ship.
People over profiles
No swiping, no ratings theatre. Just enough information to pick someone you’d enjoy an hour with.
Honest money
Companions set their own rates. You see the rate before you send a booking request, and the cafe or the tickets get settled at the venue — same as any outing with a friend.
Who's behind it
Right now? One person, one laptop, and a lot of Bandra café hours.
The founder
Right now I am the whole team — founder, designer, support inbox and, on Sundays, the person testing whether the gym booking flow actually works. I moved through this city the way a lot of us do: plenty of plans, not always someone free to join.
If you email ALNG, it reaches me. I read everything, and I'm genuinely happy to meet people — for feedback, for ideas, or just for a coffee on Chapel Road.
